The Malthusian Trap Set Play Fightback Plymouth | September 24th @ The Underground

The state of the UK live music scene has always been a subject close to our hearts. Not just because we’re musicians who routinely hit the stages of live music venues across the country but also because we care about music and the cultures that often go hand in hand with live music.

Our home city of Plymouth has seen various grassroots and medium-sized venues close over the years, making it hard for local or visiting musicians to play in front of people in what is the largest city in the county. When you’re close to a problem it can often seem like it is only happening to you or those around you but having traveled up and down the country with the band, it is obvious that the closure of live music venues is something that is affecting towns and cities across the country.

So it’s with all this in mind that we’re pleased to announce our support for Fightback UK as they launch a series of events in our home city of Plymouth to raise awareness of the issues facing live music venues.

To support Fightback in Plymouth we will be playing a FREE GIG ON TUESDAY 24th SEPTEMBER (doors open at 8pm) in The Underground on Mutley Plain.
